Bengaluru: Ex-engineers from Amazon, Coinbase, and Gojek have officially launched Drizz, a Vision AI-powered mobile app testing agent, backed by $2.7 million in seed funding.
The platform promises to transform how mobile apps are tested by eliminating fragile test scripts and replacing them with natural language-based test prompts, significantly reducing QA timelines from days to minutes.
The seed round was led by Stellaris Venture Partners and Shastra VC, with strategic participation from Anuj Rathi (ex-CBO, Cleartrip) and Vaibhav Domkundwar.

The funding will support further development of Drizz’s AI-first engine, designed to offer fast, visual, and highly adaptive mobile testing solutions for enterprises and developers.
Founded by Asad Abrar, Partha Mohanty, and Yash Varyani, Drizz addresses a pressing issue in the AI development era: outdated testing systems that can’t keep up with fast-changing codebases.
“Modern development cycles move fast, but testing lags painfully behind,” said Asad Abrar, Co-founder and CEO of Drizz. “The platform is built to close that gap – by allowing teams to write and run tests in plain English, using our visual-first, self-healing automation system.”
Unlike conventional locator-based testing tools, Drizz leverages a multimodal Vision AI engine to visually interpret app screens – just like a human user – ensuring stable testing even when UI elements shift or behave unpredictably.

“Our AI understands screen context, layout changes, and even dynamic interactions,” said Yash Varyani, CTO and Co-founder. “This reduces debugging time and enhances bug reporting with pinpoint accuracy.”
Key features of Drizz include:
- Cross-platform testing on iOS and Android with shared test suites
- Self-healing automation that adapts to UI changes
- Natural language test scripting for non-technical contributors
- Support for CI/CD pipelines, real device cloud testing, and enterprise-grade compliance
- UI, Functional, API, and end-to-end test coverage
In early use cases, Drizz achieved over 97% test accuracy and helped teams reduce test creation time by 10x. Developer engagement is strong, with users averaging 15 hours per week actively building and running test cases on the platform.
As Drizz evolves, the company aims to extend its AI-powered infrastructure into more complex and dynamic testing environments, such as apps with rich animations or non-deterministic DOMs—areas where traditional testing tools fail.
“Drizz is not just about faster QA – it’s about redefining how quality is ensured in an AI-first world,” said Partha Mohanty, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer. “We’re excited to help teams ship better software, faster, and with confidence.”
Alok Goyal, Partner at Stellaris Venture Partners, commented, “Software delivery is accelerating, and Drizz addresses one of the biggest pain points – testing. With its vision-first approach and AI-native architecture, Drizz is uniquely positioned to lead the future of mobile app QA.”
With Drizz, software teams now have a powerful, intuitive, and reliable ally in tackling the growing complexities of app development and ensuring superior product quality in less time.
